Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified RN First Assistant to deliver safe, effective perioperative care across all patient populations. The role includes acting as an RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and serving as an RN circulator when needed.

Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, and active Georgia RN licensure. CNOR/CRNFA and ACLS/PALS are preferred. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, including didactic and clinical components.
• RN or Surgical Tech with CVOR experience and appropriate licensure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures, and through the perioperative continuum.
• Provide patient-family centered care in the OR and as RN circulator when required.
