Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Group Leader to provide technical leadership and manage a team of scientists focused on RNA-therapeutic methodologies (LNP/AAV). Training will be provided, and candidates with RNA experience are encouraged to apply.

The role oversees laboratory operations, method establishment, validation, and collaboration with management to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for bachelor’s degree and experience.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Experience leading analytical teams in GMP environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of scientists to achieve departmental objectives.
• Oversee daily laboratory operations and resource scheduling to meet milestones and client requirements.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new employees in accordance with procedures.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality results.
• Author and review protocols and technical documentation for method establishment and validation.
• Provide technical leadership for method establishment across analytical platforms.
• Communicate project risks and schedule impacts to management.
• Develop innovative solutions for analytical challenges and troubleshooting.
• Review investigations and data; support QA with CAPA.
