Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks an RNA-LNP Lab Manager / Group Leader to oversee an LNP and RNA Process Development team. You will supervise lab operations, ensure GLP sample management, and coordinate analytical testing with partner organizations.

The role requires leading a group of scientists, maintaining ELN inventory, and driving continuous improvement in lab efficiency while coordinating cross-functional activities.

Qualifications

• BS in biological sciences or related field with 5+ years pharma/CRO/biotech experience; MS with 3+ years; PhD with 2+ years.
• Prior lab supervisory or team lead experience.
• Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to understand and communicate scientific information.
• Experience with operation and maintenance of equipment used in nucleic acids process development (AKTA Avant and Agilent HPLC preferred).
• Strong commitment to laboratory safety; attention to detail; data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel and adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-motivated with problem solving mindset; leadership in an integrated operations team.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of process development scientists.
• Oversee GLP sample management and coordinate analytical testing with partners.
• Maintain ELN inventory and develop a robust equipment maintenance program.
• Author lab maintenance protocols and SOPs; report metrics in weekly meetings.
• Collaborate with Process Development, Tech Transfer, Facilities, IT, and Safety teams.
• Balance technical work with leadership duties and foster team morale.
