Job summary

Recipharm in the United States seeks a leader to drive RNA process science, overseeing design, execution, and interpretation of experiments for IVT and downstream development, scale-up, and tech transfer. The role collaborates with analytics, GMP manufacturing, and Quality, mentoring scientists and advancing plasmid purification, analytical development, and process optimization.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in production of multiple RNA modalities (mRNA, saRNA, siRNA, circRNA).
Experience with IVT optimization and downstream unit operations.
Ability to independently design experiments, analyze data and present results.
Familiarity with DOE and large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Cross-functional collaboration across analytics, tech transfer and GMP operations.

Responsibilities

Lead scientific and laboratory activities within RNA process science team.
Guide development activities including technology transfer, scale-up and platform development.
Assist in plasmid downstream process development using chromatography and filtration.
Design and execute complex experiments for troubleshooting and method development.
Evaluate new technologies and lead collaborations.
