RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at Jersey City Medical Center in the Wound Care Center. This day-shift, full-time role emphasizes patient assessment, clinical judgment, evidence-based care, and teamwork across our hospital system.

Ideal candidates hold an active New Jersey RN license, BLS, and at least one year of wound care experience, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and EPIC EMR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Requires active New Jersey RN license and BLS certification.
• 1 year or more wound care experience in acute care or ambulatory settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; EPIC EMR experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families and ensure understanding of care plans.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication.
• Contribute to a collaborative, cross‑disciplinary team environment.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education opportunities.
