Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking an RN for the Medical Stepdown unit on a full-time night schedule (7:00 pm–7:30 am).

You will deliver patient care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and coordinate with other departments to protect patient rights and confidentiality. Graduation from an approved nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN) and an RN license in the hiring state or a compact license are required; BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

RN WEO- Medical Stepdown - FT Nights 7:0pm-7:30am (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) $20/hr WEO Differential Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
