Job summary

Mercy is hiring an RN for Med Surg ICU at night (WEO). The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and unit-specific certifications as needed.

You will provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. The position offers a $20/hr WEO differential and a $20k experienced nurse sign-on bonus, with duties in Sunset Hills, MO.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Certifications may be required based on unit: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting

• Maintains professional accountability for patient care
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality

Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

$20/hr WEO Differential
$20k Experienced Nurse SOB!

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
• C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
