Mercy is seeking an RN for Medical Stepdown, night shift (7:00pm-7:30am, Fri-Sun). The role focuses on delivering patient care per Mercy’s Nursing Conceptual Framework and coordinating care with other departments. PDPs emphasize patient rights and confidentiality.

Education required: nursing program graduate (AD, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure must be current and aligned with state requirements; BLS certification within 30 days may be required.

Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

RN WEO- Medical Stepdown - FT Nights

7:00pm-7:30am (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

$20/hr WEO Differential

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
