Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for WEO- Medical Stepdown on the FT Nights shift (7:00pm-7:30am, Friday, Saturday & Sunday) in Crestwood, Missouri. The role offers a $20/hr WEO differential and requires an RN license in the state or compact licensure, plus an ADN/ Diploma/ BSN nursing degree.

BLS certification or completion within 30 days is required. Responsibilities emphasize patient care in the stepdown unit, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining physical stamina for long shifts.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Education: graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Position requires ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking, with ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
