Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for the Medical Stepdown unit (Night shift, 7:00pm-7:30am, Fri-Sun). The role offers a $20/hr WEO differential and requires active RN licensure in the hiring state or a valid compact license.

The position emphasizes patient care in a high-acuity setting with a focus on teamwork and safety. Eligible candidates must have graduated from an approved nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) and hold current BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days.

• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long shifts.

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
