Mercy is seeking an experienced RN for the 7D Med Tele unit. The role supports complex diagnoses with telemetry, chest pain, heart failure, sepsis, and multi-system needs.

You will provide patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. New grads can join Mercy Springfield's Nurse Residency Program; excellent benefits begin Day One, including health, dental, vision, and retirement matching.

Formación

• RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Prolonged standing and ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Join a Weekend Telemetry unit with a focus on complex diagnoses and patient needs.

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details: This position will be every Friday, Sat, Sunday 7a-7p once off orientation.

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties"Nurse Residency Available: Mercy Springfield offers a year-long Nurse Residency Program tailored to the specialty area in which each nurse is hired. All graduate nurses participate in the program, along with select experienced nurses based on their individual experience and professional development needs.

Our patients present with multi-system needs, including chest pain, heart failure, dysrhythmias, sepsis, infectious disease, wound management, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions and more. We also care for patients requiring surgical interventions such as cath lab procedures, angiograms, EGD, colonoscopy, and anticoagulation therapies.
