Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking a Weekender Registered Nurse for the UH Lake West Step Down Unit. The role requires two 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM Fri–7:00 AM Mon) with a 1.5x pay premium for those shifts and eligibility for full-time medical and dental benefits compared to part-time levels.

The unit provides care to stable, critically ill patients across three Pods in a fast-paced 30-bed environment, with private and semi-private rooms. A $3000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Overview

Weekender Program – Salary and Schedule Overview - Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels.

The UH Lake West Step Down Unit is a fast paced 30 bed unit that specializes in providing care to stable but critically ill patients of varying acuity. This unit is comprised of both private and semi-private rooms which are broken down into three Pods.
