Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking candidates for a Weekender position. You will work two 12-hour shifts between Friday 7:00 PM and Monday 7:00 AM, earning 1.5x your regular hourly rate.

Weekenders qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, while eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels. The role supports the 3 South Acute Care and Observation Unit.

Provides safe, age-specific nursing care and collaborates with the care team to ensure positive outcomes.

Weekender Program - Salary and Schedule Overview

Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full‑time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part‑time levels.

3 South Acute Care and Observation Unit is a dynamic 33- private bed unit that provides care for a diverse patient population. Our unit cares for patients requiring observation or treatment for various medical and surgical conditions.

A Brief Overview

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
