3 North (3N) is made up of 30 private telemetry beds. 3 North is 30 inpatient beds which is unique to our Medicare Designated Hospital setting. Being the largest inpatient unit at UH St. John, we care for higher acuity patients and have a longer length of stay.

Weekender Program - Salary and Schedule Overview

Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels.

A Brief Overview

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
