Cantex Continuing Care Network in Gainesville, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care on weekends. The RN Weekend Supervisor role runs 6a-10p on Saturdays and Sundays, with opportunities for advancement in a supportive culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee provision of patient care per standards and physician orders.

• Receive and execute physicians' orders; implement care plans.
• Direct, monitor, and coordinate timely delivery of care by staff.
• Ensure care management systems are in-serviced and integrated.

Responsibilities

• As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will participate in and oversee the provision of patient care services consistent with accepted standards and prescribed by attending Physician.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• May administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians’ orders. Evaluated and implements a Patient’s care plan.
• Directs, monitors, and coordinates timely delivery of quality Patient care by all subordinate staff.
• Ensures Patient Care Management Systems are routinely in-serviced and incorporated into the delivery of patient care.
