Job summary

Renaissance Care Center in Gainesville, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to oversee patient care on Saturdays and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The role involves supervising staff, observing patient conditions, documenting in EMR, and implementing physician orders, ensuring quality care in accordance with policies and regulations. Graduation from an accredited nursing school and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Ability to monitor patient conditions and report changes.
• Experience documenting care in an EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee provision of patient care per standards and physician orders.
• Observe and report patient conditions and document changes.
• Enter nursing assessments and changes in EMR.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate timely delivery of quality patient care.
• Ensure care plans are implemented and staff are trained.

Responsibilities

• As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will participate in and oversee the provision of patient care services consistent with accepted standards and prescribed by attending Physician.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• May administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians’ orders. Evaluated and implements a Patient’s care plan.
• Directs, monitors, and coordinates timely delivery of quality Patient care by all subordinate staff.
• Ensures Patient Care Management Systems are routinely in-serviced and incorporated into the delivery of patient care.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
