Cantex Continuing Care Network in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee and participate in patient care in the Skilled Nursing setting at Crestview Court. The role emphasizes adherence to physician orders, state and federal guidelines, and high-quality care delivery.

The ideal candidate will hold a current RN license, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and be able to document care plans, assess patient changes, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary

Responsibilities

• As a Registered Nurse, you will participate in and oversee patient care per standards and physician orders.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions and document per policies and regulations.
• Document EMR assessments and changes of condition in accordance with nursing practice.
• May administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physician orders and update the care plan.
• Direct, monitor, and coordinate timely delivery of quality patient care by staff.
• Ensure patient care management systems are regularly in-serviced and integrated into the delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities

• As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will participate in and oversee the provision of patient care services consistent with accepted standards and prescribed by attending Physician.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• May administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians’ orders. Evaluated and implements a Patient’s care plan.
• Directs, monitors, and coordinates timely delivery of quality Patient care by all subordinate staff.
• Ensures Patient Care Management Systems are routinely in-serviced and incorporated into the delivery of patient care.
