Complete Care - Connecticut is seeking a licensed RN supervisor to lead care for residents in a skilled nursing setting. The role covers night and day shifts with weekend options, and you will oversee care planning, staff scheduling, and family communications.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within this state as a RN Registered Nurse.
• Prior Long Term Care experience.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assist to implement and revise care plans, monitor health status.
• Observe staffing coverage, manage coverage needs and oversee staff.
• Communicate changes in resident conditions to families and the team.
• Review incidents, transcribe orders, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Explain health status, changes and expectations for care to residents and families.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents & Facility:

Care Needs & Planning:

Assist to implement & revise care plans, monitors health conditions, supplements direct care needs & responds to emergencies or changes in status

Staff Oversight & Scheduling:

Observes care assignments, manages coverage needs, evaluates staff performance, educate & lead staff

Family & Team Liaison:

Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team

Documentation:

Reviews and investigates incidents, transcribes orders, audits medical charges and maintains record compliance for accuracy

Family, Resident, Staff Education:

Explain health status, changes and expectations for care, guides and direct care skills with intervention as needed
