Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Cleveland is hiring for Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work with pediatric or adult medically fragile patients in the home setting, delivering skilled nursing services per orders.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and to monitor and document patient status. Must hold an active Ohio RN or LPN license, with current TB/Chest X-ray and BLS; 1 year nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license in Ohio.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray as required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses.
