Job summary
Ciena Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN for Christian Park Healthcare Center in Michigan. You will supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure high quality resident care across assigned shifts.
The role requires an active RN license and CPR certification, with 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute settings preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a FT sign-on bonus opportunity.
Qualifications
- RN leadership and supervision capabilities.
- Strong communication with residents, families and staff.
- Ability to coordinate and oversee care plans across shifts.
Responsibilities
- Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and other staff providing direct care.
- Plans and directs work aligning with resident needs and staff capabilities.
- Prepares work assignments and adjusts for staffing and safety.
- Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
- Transfers employees among units based on staffing demands.
- Completes performance evaluations and supports hiring decisions.
- Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
- Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management.
