Job summary

Christian Park Village in Michigan is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee and coordinate resident care across shifts. You will supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other team members, assess care plans, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role emphasizes planning, directing work, and using independent judgment within policy and regulatory guidelines. A current RN license and CPR certification are required, with 1–2 years of long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Salary: $41.28 - $47.53

Sign-On Bonus: USD 15,000 FT & USD $7,500 PT

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing, overseeing, and coordinating the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care plans while ensuring the highest degree of quality care and safety. The RN supervises and supports licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other team members to ensure continuity of care and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
