Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an experienced RN leader to supervise nursing staff and support staffing plans to meet patient acuity and quality targets. You will partner with the Manager/Clinical Leader to ensure alignment with unit goals and foster professional growth for team members.

The role emphasizes strong physician relationships, patient satisfaction, and participation in performance improvement and governance activities. BSN preferred and CPR within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice; CPR certification required within 90 days.
• BSN preferred; Master’s degree may be a plus.
• ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP may be required per unit guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Participates in staff selection, evaluation, orientation, and development.
• Supports the Manager/Clinical Leader to align knowledge, skills, and behaviors with unit goals.
• Leads performance improvement activities and supports change initiatives.
• Maintains a strong focus on patient safety, quality care, and patient experience.
