Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) to help lead daily patient care operations and support nursing staff. The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, active RN licensure in the state, and at least 2 years of direct patient care experience with at least 1 year in a charge nurse role.

BLS and NRP certifications are required; BSN is preferred. You will coordinate patient placement, staff assignments, and unit activities, while supporting workflow, scheduling, and budgeting in

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in the applicable state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 1 year of charge nurse experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient placement and staff assignments.
• Support nursing staff with patient care, workflow, and unit activities.
• Assist with staff orientation, education, and ongoing training.
• Oversee clinical operations and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, productivity, and resource management.
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, staffing, and operational needs.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe patient care environment.
• Perform direct patient care as needed.
