Job summary

Premier HCM is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility during the tour of duty. You will ensure quality care and coordinate with the Director of Nursing.

You will ensure staff adherence to policies, participate in QA/QI, infection control, safety programs, and respond to surveys by government agencies. Must hold a nursing degree and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited college or school.
• Must possess an active, unencumbered RN license.
• English language proficiency required.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Ensure nursing staff follow facility policies and procedures.
• Develop and monitor QA/QI, infection control, and safety programs.
• Participate in government surveys.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete incident reports and investigations.
• Maintain daily census by submitting 24-hour reports.
• Notify DON/ADON of drug discrepancies.
• Develop work assignments and supervise staff.
