Job summary
Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor to join the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit on nights. The role includes leading daily team huddles, attending meetings, and serving as Charge RN while maintaining patient rounds with leadership.
Eligible for sign-on and relocation assistance based on distance. Requirements include a BSN (or ADN within one year of BSN), Virginia RN license or eNLC privilege, and BLS certification with at least one year of RN
Qualifications
- RN licensure in Virginia or eNLC privilege
- BLS certification required at start
- BSN or ADN within one year of completing BSN (minimum education)
- Minimum of one year RN experience; preferred >2 years L&D and Charge RN experience
Responsibilities
- Lead unit initiatives and trainings
- Attend and lead department meetings
- Serve as Charge RN and complete patient rounds with leadership
- Coach and conduct daily team huddles; participate in service recovery
