Job summary
Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor for the Medical/Surgical unit on the night shift. The role supervises frontline nursing staff, drives quality initiatives and patient experience, and participates in governance and staffing decisions.

Qualifications
- BLS certification required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead shift huddles and communicate priorities for target and gaps.
- Review core measures and participate in action plans to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe discharge planning.
- Forecast staffing and supplies and address discrepancies.
- Coach and mentor clinical staff and support professional development.
