Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor to join the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. This full-time night position offers a 3x12 hour schedule and eligibility for a sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

The L&D unit operates a 13-bed labor and delivery service with multiple suites and high-risk obstetric care, delivering 10–15 babies daily and coordinating daily team huddles and unit initiatives.

Qualifications

At least one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
Preferred: 2+ years in labor and delivery; Charge RN experience; BSN degree.

Responsibilities

Leads unit initiatives and trainings.
Attends department meetings and leads some meetings.
Attends RN Unit Supervisor meetings twice a month.
Serves as Charge on the unit.
Completes patient rounds with unit leadership.
Provides service recovery as needed.
Leads daily team huddles.
