Ochsner Health in Louisiana seeks a Nurse Supervisor to oversee patient care at the unit level, coordinating licensed nurses, RNs, and patient care technicians. You will lead staffing decisions, monitor quality indicators, and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with leadership to identify staff development needs, manage shift coverage, and uphold patient safety while fostering a compassionate care culture across the team.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required for Magnet facilities.
• Required – 1 year RN experience or 2 years LPN in acute care setting; preferred 2 years RN.
• RN license in state of practice; BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Organizes, plans, supervises, and coordinates patient care within the unit.
• Supervises and evaluates assigned nursing staff and technicians.
• Promotes nursing protocols and evidence-based practice.
• Manages conflict and collaborates with unit leadership.
• Supports daily clinical operations: staffing, scheduling, supplies.
• Ensures privacy, consent, and professional communication with patients.
