Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience or 2 years of LPN experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications, starts IVs, and discharges patients with the healthcare team.
• Organizes, plans, supervises, and provides coordinated patient care within the unit.
• Supervises, develops, and evaluates assigned staff nurses and technicians.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and nursing protocols.
• Manages scheduling, staffing, and resources on the unit.
• Collaborates with leadership to ensure quality, safety, and patient experience.

Education

BSN degree (preferred)

RN license in Louisiana

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
