Job summary

Required: RN license, BSN ( Magnet facilities ), and at least 1 year of relevant experience; BLS certification. Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with active state RN license and BLS.
• BSN degree is required; a BSN is preferred for Magnet facilities.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide care at point of care for patients in the unit.
• Coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing interventions by licensed staff.
• Serve as a resource for patient care assessment and planning.
• Collaborate with unit leadership to resolve staffing and care issues.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching.
• Promote evidence-based nursing protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure scheduling, staffing, and supplies meet patient needs.
• Adapt communication and care to diverse patient populations.
• Handle urgent clinical situations and collaborate with supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with safety, privacy, and quality standards.
