Job summary

West Chester Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a capable RN Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and ensure high-quality, person-centered resident care. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and supports interdisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement.

The position requires a PA RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least five years of nursing experience with two years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in PA.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Prefer nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely incident reporting with follow-up to the Administrator and DON.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the DON.
• Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to unit staff.
• Monitor care plan compliance, regulations, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for resident-centered care and improvement.
