Job summary

Capitol Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a 138-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility, is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and ensure resident-centered care.

The role requires a PA RN license, BLS CPR certification, a nursing degree (preferred), and at least five years of nursing experience with two years of supervisory experience. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered PA RN license.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations on the assigned unit.
• Coordinate resident care to promote physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely incident reporting with follow-up to the Administrator and Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in policy development, implementation, and evaluation based on clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor care plans, regulations, and quality standards for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care.
