Job summary
Spring Grove Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, seeks an RN Unit Manager for a full-time role in New Jersey. The unit manager will lead nursing operations on an assigned unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, resident-centered care, with strong clinical leadership and policy implementation.
The position requires NJ RN license, BLS CPR, 5 years of nursing experience, and 2 years supervisory experience.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in NJ.
- BLS CPR certification required.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in nursing care settings.
Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
- Coordinate resident care to promote highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
- Ensure timely incident reporting with follow-up to the Administrator and DON.
- Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the DON.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
- Monitor care plans, regulations, and quality standards for resident outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care.
