Job summary
Atrium Centers' South Haven Nursing & Rehab is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN) to lead our nursing team from 8 AM to 4 PM, with on-call and PRN night/weekend coverage as needed. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered to qualified candidates.
The ideal candidate has at least three years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting with demonstrated management responsibilities, holds an active RN license, and can supervise nursing assistants while administering medications and IV therapy
Qualifications
- At least three years of nursing experience in a long-term care environment with a portion in a management role.
- Passion for caring for and improving residents' lives.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Ability to administer medications and IV certification.
- Good working knowledge of state rules/regulations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, staff, administer and direct nursing services for all licensed units under the DON.
- Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care/related services per residents' care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments based on residents' needs.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants.
