Job summary

Atrium Centers' South Haven Nursing & Rehab is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN) to lead our nursing team from 8 AM to 4 PM, with on-call and PRN night/weekend coverage as needed. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered to qualified candidates.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting with demonstrated management responsibilities, holds an active RN license, and can supervise nursing assistants while administering medications and IV therapy

Qualifications

• At least three years of nursing experience in a long-term care environment with a portion in a management role.
• Passion for caring for and improving residents' lives.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Ability to administer medications and IV certification.
• Good working knowledge of state rules/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff, administer and direct nursing services for all licensed units under the DON.
• Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care/related services per residents' care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments based on residents' needs.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants.

Must hold current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities for RN Unit Manager:

• RN will plan, organize, staff, administer and direct a broad program of nursing services for all licensed units, under director of DON.
• Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care/related services for residents in accordance with their care plan
• Administer medications and complete treatments based on residents' needs
• Registered Nurse will supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants

QUALIFICATIONS for RN Unit Manager:

• At least three (3) years of successful nursing experience in a long-term care environment; most of which should be in a management role.
• A passion for caring for and improving the lives of our residents
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Ability to Administer Medication and IV certification
• Good Working knowledge of State Rules/Regulations
• Positive Can-Do Attitude and Excellent Attendance
