Job summary
Vicar's Landing, in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, seeks an experienced Unit Manager (RN) to lead a 30-resident Skilled Nursing unit, ensuring resident-centered care and supporting a compassionate nursing team.
You will collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff, monitor patient status, manage admissions/transfers, and champion quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, or Assisted Living.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with EHR and clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations of a Skilled Nursing unit serving up to 30 residents.
- Coordinate resident care and ensure communication among residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and respond to acute changes in resident condition.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and care transitions.
- Develop and support individualized resident care plans.
- Promote resident dignity, rights, independence, and quality of life.
