Job summary

Vicar's Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN) to lead the day-to-day clinical operations of a Skilled Nursing unit serving up to 30 residents.

You will coordinate resident care with families, physicians, and an interdisciplinary team, monitor acute changes, and guide admissions, transfers, and care transitions. This leadership role emphasizes staff development, quality outcomes, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida RN license.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, or Assisted Living.
• Strong clinical assessment and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical operations of a Skilled Nursing unit serving up to 30 residents.
• Coordinate resident care and ensure communication among residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor and respond to acute changes in resident condition.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and care transitions.
• Develop and support individualized resident care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, rights, independence, and quality of life.
• Mentor nursing staff and support teams to ensure high-quality care.
