Job summary

Chelsea Jewish Lifecare in Chelsea, MA is seeking an experienced Unit Manager - RN to lead the Katzman Family Center for Living nursing unit. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call weekend rotations and a pay range of $46.00-$51.00 per hour, based on experience.

You will supervise nursing staff, assess residents, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, ensure medication safety and regulatory compliance, and participate in quality improvement

Qualifications

• MA RN licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years in clinical supervision or leadership.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and patient safety.
• CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit with resident-centered care and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff; coordinate assignments and promote teamwork.
• Assess residents, monitor changes, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plans.
• Ensure accurate medication administration, documentation, infection control, and regulatory adherence.
• Address concerns, respond to emergencies, and support quality improvement initiatives.
