Job summary

Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. The RN Unit Manager will oversee daily nursing operations on the assigned unit, ensuring quality resident care and supporting staff.

This role requires leading and motivating a nursing team, with a focus on compassionate, resident-centered care and compliance with policies and regulations. Previous supervisory or LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in supervision or leadership roles preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a nursing team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff on the assigned unit.
• Oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality resident care.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Assist with care planning, assessments, and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide guidance, education, and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, and unit operations.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and nursing standards.
• Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
