Job summary

Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our 46-bed Short-Term Rehabilitation Unit. You will oversee day-to-day clinical operations and mentor nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care, while ensuring compliance with NYS DOH and CMS standards.

The role requires an active NYS RN license and at least three years of nursing management experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Nurse License (RN).
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing management or supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, post‑acute rehabilitation, and long‑term care regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day clinical operations of a 46‑bed short‑term rehabilitation unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high‑quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with all NYS Department of Health and CMS regulations.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, quality measures, and resident satisfaction.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, residents, and families.
