Job summary

Evergreen Senior Care Center is seeking an RN Unit Manager in Battle Creek, MI. You will coordinate clinical care for a designated unit within a 24-hour operation, leading an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care using up-to-date technology.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Michigan RN license, and CPR-BLS certification, with at least 2 years of related nursing experience. Strong supervisory, communication, and customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Michigan; CPR-BLS certification required.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing team: provide direction, assignments, and training.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor care.

The Unit Manageris a registered nurse who isresponsible for the coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24 hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality care for all residents. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.
You will earn:

• Starting Salary $90,000 per year
• Yearly Salary Increases

We need the following shift coverage:

• All shifts include rotating weekends and holidays, as well as rotating on-call schedule.
• Must be a Registered Nurse

How you will help people every day:

• You will supervise the nursing team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• You will instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues
• You will ensure the completion of requested reports, i.e., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse License iin the State of Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
