Job summary

Cascade Senior Care Center in Jackson, Michigan is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN) to coordinate clinical care on an assigned unit within our 24-hour operation. You will assess needs and implement care using the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

You will supervise the nursing team, conduct regular rounds, train staff, ensure completion of required reports, and promote hospitality and excellent customer service to residents and their families each day.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate from an accredited school of nursing and have at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Michigan; CPR-BLS certification.
• Analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and to develop solutions for complex patient needs.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, give direction and assignments, provide training, and participate in evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care quality.
• Instruct the team on skilled care processes and act as a resource for clinical issues.
• Ensure completion of required reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors.

The Unit Manager is a registered nurse who is responsible for the coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24 hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality care for all residents. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

We Need The Following Shift Coverage

• All shifts include rotating weekends and holidays, as well as rotating on-call schedule.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:
