Midwest Health, Inc. seeks an experienced Unit Manager to oversee a nursing unit within the facility in Osage Beach, MO. The role includes supervising the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The incumbent will monitor patient conditions, report changes to physicians and families, and participate in Quality Assurance processes while ensuring staff safety and confidentiality.

Qualificações

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong reading, writing and speaking English.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee unit operations and supervise nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with policy, procedures and regulations.
• Provide 24-hour responsibility for resident care on the assigned unit.
• Report incidents to Administrator and Director of Nursing; participate in QA meetings.
• Monitor resident care needs and environmental standards; assist in meal supervision.
• Review clinical records for accuracy and completeness; monitor infections.
• Assist on the unit when short staffed and provide orientation/training as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
