Job summary
New Mark Rehab and Healthcare Center in Missouri is seeking an RN/LPN Unit Manager to work with the Director of Nursing to lead nursing services, ensure quality resident care, and uphold safety and infection control. You will supervise staffing, conduct rounds, monitor QA, and participate in quality improvement
Qualifications
- Hold an LPN or RN license in Missouri.
- Strong leadership and staff development abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day nursing department operations.
- Staffing, quality assurance, and resident care monitoring.
- Perform rounds, observe operations, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure resident rights, safety, and infection control protocols.
- Coordinate with QA nurse on incident reports and corrective actions.
- Manage staffing levels and allocate staff as needed.
- Participate in QA/QI programs and audits.
- Rotate after-hours on-call duties.
