Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Unit Manager - RN to supervise the day-to-day activities of a designated nursing unit in accordance with applicable laws and standards, ensuring the highest quality of resident care.

You will lead staffing, ensure care plans are followed, manage budgets, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to promote patient safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service across the life plan community.

Qualifications

• RN license active in the state of Ohio.
• Bachelor’s or higher in nursing preferred; leadership experience.
• Experience supervising nursing staff on a unit or clinical area.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit operations, staffing, and budgeting to stay within budget.
• Coordinate resident/patient care with other departments and teams.
• Monitor care plans, medication administration, and documentation.
• Supervise and develop direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, policies, and regulatory standards.
