Job summary

Atlas Healthcare, LLC seeks a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on a resident care unit in a licensed facility. You will oversee RNs, LPNs and CNAs, ensure care plans are followed, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality, compliant resident care.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating admissions and discharge planning, maintaining documentation, and participating in state and federal survey processes.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–3 years nursing supervisor experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
• Geriatrics experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice and CPR certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors facility clinical systems to facilitate quality resident care in accordance with laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Directs and develops RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
• Conducts rounds and documents nursing care notes in resident charts.
• Performs medication administration and IV duties as ordered by a physician.
• Completes incident reports and participates in discharge planning.
• Assists in recruitment, orientation, and supervision of nursing staff.
• Coordinates with ADON and DON to resolve grievances related to resident care.
