Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a seasoned Unit Manager (RN) in Connecticut to oversee two LTC/SNF units. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, drive clinical quality, and ensure regulatory compliance across your caseload.

You will report to the DON and manage care planning, physician rounds, and incident investigations in a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM weekday schedule with possible weekend options. A CT RN license and LTC leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active CT RN license required.
• 3+ years of clinical nursing in SNF/LTC.
• 1–2 years in formal leadership role.
• Experience with LTC regulations and surveys.
• Proficient with EMR systems (PointClickCare).

Responsibilities

• Oversee two LTC/SNF units; ensure 24/7 clinical and administrative oversight.
• Lead daily unit operations to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Direct resident care planning and MDS processes.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; coordinate with DON.
• Manage physician/family relations and incident reviews.
• Ensure patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
