Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Previous Unit Manager, ADON or DON experience in a long-term care setting required.
• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations and delivery of resident care on the assigned unit.
• Supervise, orient, schedule and evaluate the performance of unit nursing staff.
• Review care plans, assessments and documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for nursing staff, residents and families.
• Ensure the unit remains appropriately staffed, including covering shifts and on-call periods as needed.
• Support survey readiness, quality improvement initiatives and facility policy implementation.
