Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse - Unit Manager to oversee clinical operations and resident care on a designated nursing unit. You will supervise and develop the nursing staff, coordinate care plans, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high survey readiness.

The role requires prior Unit Manager/ADON/DON experience in long-term care, active RN licensure in the state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations and resident care on the unit.
• Supervise, orient, schedule and evaluate unit nursing staff.

• Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for staff, residents and families.
• Ensure adequate staffing including shift coverage and on-call periods.
• Support survey readiness, quality improvement initiatives and facility policy implementation.

Job Summary

Manages the clinical and operational functions of an assigned nursing unit, overseeing the delivery of resident care and the performance of unit staff. Ensures care is provided in accordance with physician orders, facility policy and regulatory requirements. Supports staffing, scheduling, orientation and performance management, and serves as a clinical resource to the nursing team.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Required
• Previous Unit Manager, ADON or DON experience in a long-term care setting: Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required

Key Responsibilities
