Ideal candidates will have NY RN licensure, 5+ years nursing experience with at least 1 year in supervision, and familiarity with LTC operations and infection control. This role emphasizes regulatory adherence and team coordination.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN License in NY.
• Minimum 5+ years nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or healthcare setting and 1 year as nurse supervisor.
• LTC experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of health records systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day patient care and supervise nursing staff.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with Director of Nursing and families.
• Recruit, orient, and train nursing staff.
• Schedule staff and monitor performance.
• Maintain infection control policies and safe environment.
• Participate in QAPI processes.
